From A to Z with Vij5
The newspaper: a record of facts and events that can be brought back to images and letters.
An analysis of the alphabet is the start of the design of this desk. The letters of the alphabet are reduced to abstract forms, the poles of the letters in the alphabet. These forms are laser cut from Newspaper Wood and form the handles of the desk drawers. While sitting and writing at this desk, one can start to work his or her own history.

The material Newspaper Wood was invented by Mieke Meijer, developed in cooperation with and under license of design label Vij5.
